For Organisations

Organisation Roles & Permissions

MIPACE Organisation splits responsibility across five levels, so access always matches what someone actually needs to do.

Platform administrator

Creates and deletes organisations, provisions devices directly into an organisation (in bulk, up to 5,000 at a time), can retire selected devices, can open and manage any organisation, and sees the audit log across every organisation on the platform.

Account manager

Manages the whole organisation: adds or removes other account managers, creates or deletes locations and groups, adds location managers, creates or removes people, assigns and releases devices, resends invitations, and sees their organisation’s own audit log.

Location manager

Restricted to the location(s) they’re mapped to: manages groups within that location, adds or removes group managers, creates or removes people, assigns and releases devices from the organisation’s available stock, and resends invitations , all scoped to their own location only.

Group manager

Can view their assigned group and the people within it. No organisation or device administration rights.

Parent, guardian, or individual account holder

Manages their own MIPACE account exactly as normal: builds and edits their (or their child’s) profile, approves or reviews organisation-assigned devices from their own Devices page, and sees organisation-owned devices linked to them , but cannot rename, reassign, deactivate, or report them lost, since those devices remain part of the organisation’s inventory.

What no manager role can do

No organisation role , including an account manager , can see or edit the actual medical or personal information on someone’s MIPACE profile. That stays with the profile owner throughout, at every level of the organisation.
