- Buy your MIPACE device. Your purchase creates your account and a device record for each item ordered.
- Your device is prepared. MIPACE programs the physical card, sticker, wristband or other item to the unique device URL created for your order.
- Receive your device. It arrives already assigned to your account, but still marked Pending activation.
- Tap it. Before activation, the device opens a message explaining that it has not yet been activated.
- Open My MIPACE Devices. Sign in, find the pending device and select Activate.
- Build and control your profile. Add the information that matters, choose what is public, and add emergency contacts or priority keywords.
- Use your device. Once active, you can rename it and report it lost or stolen from the Devices page.
The key point
You do not create an empty MIPACE account and then link a product later. Buying a device creates the account-and-device relationship first; activation happens after the programmed item arrives.
Managing MIPACE for someone else? Once your account exists, you can create and manage additional profiles, such as a child’s profile, and use the available device controls to connect devices appropriately.
