What is MIPACE Organisation?
A separate management layer that runs alongside personal MIPACE, letting a business, school, care provider, club, or construction company provision and manage MIPACE devices across the people they’re responsible for.
Does the organisation see people’s medical information?
No. The organisation manages structure and devices , locations, groups, people, and device assignment. The actual profile information is built and controlled entirely by the individual (or their parent/guardian) through their own personal MIPACE account, exactly as with any other MIPACE profile.
How do devices get into an organisation’s stock?
A MIPACE platform administrator provisions them directly into the organisation, in bulk, up to 5,000 devices at a time.
Can our managers create or delete device stock?
No. Account managers and location managers can assign an available device to a person and release it back to stock, but they can’t create, delete, or retire devices themselves , that stays under platform control.
How does a device actually get connected to someone’s profile?
A manager creates a person record with that individual’s (or their parent/guardian’s) email. That person receives a notification, signs in to their own MIPACE account, reviews the request on their Devices page, and approves it themselves. See Approving an Organisation-Assigned Device.
What if the person doesn’t have a MIPACE account yet?
The request is reviewed through the recipient’s existing MIPACE account. Once signed in, they can return to the pending request and approve it.
Can a parent edit an organisation-owned device?
Not directly , they can see it and use it, but renaming, reassigning, deactivating, or reporting it lost has to go through the organisation, since the device remains part of the organisation’s managed inventory.
What happens if someone leaves the organisation?
A manager releases the device back to the organisation’s available stock. The person record and profile connection can stay in place, or be removed, depending on what’s appropriate.
What happens to devices if a location or group is deleted?
Every device assigned within it is automatically released back to the organisation’s available stock , nothing is left orphaned.
Is everything logged?
Yes. Organisation creation, manager and group changes, person records, invitations, and every device provisioning, assignment, and release event are recorded in an audit log , visible to account managers for their own organisation, and to platform administrators across all organisations.
How is this different from an individual just buying their own MIPACE?
The underlying device and profile system is identical , MIPACE Organisation adds a management and provisioning layer on top, suited to equipping many people at once, with centralised device tracking and delegated but scoped management access. It does not replace or duplicate an individual’s personal profile.
Who is MIPACE Organisation for?
Schools and nurseries, care providers, clubs and teams, and construction or commercial employers , anywhere an organisation needs to equip a group of people with MIPACE devices while keeping personal information under each individual’s own control. See MIPACE for Organisations.
