You’ll get a notification
When an organisation assigns a device to your email address, MIPACE sends you a branded notification. It names the organisation and takes you towards Your Devices, where the request can be reviewed securely. The email is a notification, not a separate login or an approval on its own.
If you don’t have a MIPACE account yet
The request must be reviewed through an existing MIPACE account. Once the recipient can sign in, the pending organisation request will be waiting in their Devices area.
Reviewing the request
On your Devices page, you’ll see the organisation’s name, the device involved, and which of your MIPACE profiles (your own, or a child’s) it’s proposed to connect to. Nothing is linked until you approve it.
If you receive a reminder
The organisation can resend the notification while the request is still waiting. This is only a prompt to review the existing request. It does not approve anything for you and it does not give the organisation access to your personal account or profile information.
Approving it
If everything looks right, approve the request. The device is connected to the profile you selected immediately, and starts working exactly like any other MIPACE device , a tap opens whatever you’ve made public on that profile.
What you can and can’t do with it afterwards
Once approved, the device shows in your account as an organisation-owned device linked to you. You can see it, but you can’t rename, reassign, deactivate, or report it lost yourself , since it remains part of the organisation’s managed device inventory. If you need any of that done, contact the organisation directly.
Your profile is still yours
Approving a device doesn’t change who controls the information on it. You still manage your (or your child’s) profile exactly as normal , the organisation never sees or holds your profile’s underlying information, only that a device has been connected.
