Emergency & Contacts

The Immediate Emergency Contact

You can choose one active emergency contact to feature as a prominent "Call Emergency Contact" button, shown right at the top of your public profile alongside your name and priority keywords.

Setting it up

In your profile settings, select which of your active contacts (either from this profile, or from your shared account-level contacts) should be your immediate emergency contact. Only contacts that are active and have a phone number can be selected.

What it looks like to a finder

A single, unmissable button at the top of the page , tapping it dials the contact directly, with the contact’s name shown underneath.

Choosing between a profile contact and an account contact

You can set the immediate emergency contact to pull from either source , this matters most if you’re managing multiple profiles and want the same person (typically yourself) to be the featured contact across all of them. See Account-Level Emergency Contacts.

Changing your mind

You can change or remove your immediate emergency contact at any time , if you switch a contact to inactive, they’re automatically no longer eligible to be featured this way.

Important

This is designed to make reaching the right person faster , it doesn’t replace calling emergency services. In a genuine emergency, always contact 999 (or the appropriate emergency number) directly.
