How it works
Visibility is set per section, not per field. Switching on “Medical,” for example, makes every filled-in field within that section visible on your public profile , you can’t show your allergies while hiding your medication within the same section. If you want tighter control over one particular detail, keep it in a section you leave private, or word it carefully within a section you do make public.
Why it’s set up this way
A simpler privacy model is easier to understand at a glance , you should always be able to look at your profile and know exactly what a stranger tapping your device would see, without needing to check field by field.
An empty section stays hidden either way
Even if you switch a section’s visibility on, it won’t appear on your public profile unless there’s actually something written in it. Empty sections are never shown, public or not.
Previewing your public profile
Check what your device would show a finder at any time via your profile page , this reflects exactly what’s currently switched on and filled in, nothing more.
