Organisation deployment is easiest to understand as a sequence. The organisation handles purchasing and device administration. The intended account holder takes control of the personal connection.
The organisation prepares the device
An organisation purchases the required devices and uses its MIPACE organisation area to organise them for the appropriate location, group or intended recipient. Internal names should make devices easy to identify without exposing unnecessary personal information.
The account holder approves the connection
The person, parent or guardian uses their own MIPACE account and approves the organisation device connection. This is a meaningful step: it confirms that the device may open the chosen public profile. The organisation does not take over the account.
The device opens the selected public profile
Once the required steps are complete and the device is active, a tap or scan opens the public-facing information selected by the profile controller. Viewers do not need access to the private editing account.
The organisation manages the deployment
Organisation administrators can keep track of the devices and the relevant organisational structure. Processes should cover device changes, people leaving, damaged or missing devices and changes in responsible staff. Profile content remains the responsibility of the account holder.
Please note: MIPACE supports access to information. It does not provide medical advice, replace professional assessment, emergency services, safeguarding procedures or the safety arrangements appropriate to an activity or setting.
