The problem
Coaches and volunteers often meet members for the first time on the pitch, in the pool, or on a trip , without knowing about allergies, conditions, or who to contact if something goes wrong.
How MIPACE Organisation helps
The club creates a person record for each member and invites their parent, guardian, or the member themselves. Once connected, a coach or volunteer can access whatever the member has chosen to make public , with the club never having to collect, store, or manage that information directly.
How it’s structured
A club or venue signs up as a location, with groups mapping naturally to teams, squads, or age groups , each with its own group manager (a coach or team lead).
Suitable products
Wristbands and keyrings suit most activity and sport settings; equipment stickers work well for shared kit.
Benefits
- No club-held medical records to manage or secure
- Consistent access for whichever coach or volunteer is present
- Easy to reassign devices as membership changes season to season
- A clear audit trail of who was assigned what, and when
Limitations
MIPACE is an information-access tool , it doesn’t replace a club’s own safeguarding policy, first-aid provision, or duty-of-care procedures.
