Commercial & Public Services

Businesses and public-facing services want to support the people they serve without taking on the burden, or the liability, of storing sensitive personal data themselves.

The problem
Venues, services, and organisations often need to understand a visitor’s or customer’s needs quickly, but holding that data centrally raises real data-protection and safeguarding questions.
How MIPACE helps
Individuals carry their own MIPACE device and control their own information. Staff simply tap it, when appropriate, to see what the person has chosen to share, nothing is stored or managed by the organisation itself.
Suitable products
Cards, wristbands, and equipment stickers, depending on the setting.
Example information
Emergency contacts and any medical, communication, or assistance information the individual has chosen to share.
Benefits
Reduces the data-handling burden on the organisation, since profiles are personally controlled and hosted by MIPACE, not by the business.
Limitations
Organisations must still maintain their own appropriate policies and procedures, MIPACE supports individual self-disclosure; it doesn’t replace an organisation’s own data protection, accessibility, or safeguarding obligations.
